It is never too early to ask the question, “Will my child be ready for school?” We hear from teachers and researchers that children who can follow directions and have self- control are more likely to be ready for school. When a child is, curious and asks questions, able wait her/his turn and become comfortable with routine this helps so much with being ready for school. At home having daily routines of sitting and eating meals together, having bedtime routines and same daily bedtime and same time getting up in the morning support children’s readiness. These short videos will provide an example of health child activities related to family time, play, language development, health habits, and sleep routines.
